The Taranaki Multi-Ethnic Council is a multi cultural organisation which promotes - Building Bridges of Friendship - in Taranaki. The aim of TMEC is to preserve and foster an understanding of the ethnic customs, languages, religions, sport and cultures of all individuals, so that they can be shared with the wider community of Taranaki, encouraging and fostering friendship.
